Michael Antone, Partner, is part of the team evaluating investment opportunities, as well as overseeing Grande Ventures' investment portfolio. Mr. Antone is a Professional Engineer and Registered Patent Attorney who brings over twenty years of industry and private practice experience to Grande Ventures and its portfolio companies ranging from power system design and analysis to telecommunications research, development and manufacturing management, as well as intellectual property prosecution and litigation across a variety of industries. Mr. Antone was most recently Senior Vice President, R&D and Manufacturing and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Broadwing Corporation, formerly Corvis Corporation. He previously held positions with the law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart and with Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Mr. Antone is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Mitrionics AB and OCAS AS. Mr. Antone has a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. degree from Duquesne University.
